Semillero que invita a investigar desde/con los oficios. Es un espacio para encontrar en las técnicas textiles lógicas particulares, formas de pensamiento, para hacer proyectos de diseño. Leemos, discutimos al tiempo bordamos, tejemos, enfieltramos, hilamos o cosemos.
En este semillero realizamos convocatorias de acuerdo a los proyectos que gestionamos y los fondos a los que podemos acceder. Colaboramos, nos ensuciamos, nos mezclamos, hacemos en colectivo alrededor de los hilos.

In the Ubaté Valley, Cundinamarca-Colombia, the wool craft is still preserved in the hands of women. Wool knowledge is acquired and shared through oral tradition, from the mutual coming-into-being among the territory, sheep, homes and textile makers interwoven in campesino life. This text presents an expedition that brings the stories and knowledge collected through a series of visits to the houses of wool crafter Campesino women from Ubaté’s Valley. From the land, the grass and the sheep to the homes of Campesino women and Ubaté Valley paths. An entangled journey that brings the matters of wool matter. Understanding Wool as not-only raw material but a place maker ensemble of ecological relations, subjects and objects.

[Abstract]
This is a fictional story that questions the traditional interweaving of technoscience. It goes through the fibres to un-weave or un-make the essentialist borders created between humans and machines. We use weaving as a thread that helps us to rethink the distance between the three components of HCI: humans, computers, and interaction. We tell the story of weavers, looms, and threads assembling as an accord that is not an interaction but an intra-action. The text itself shapes the argument and introduces the reader to the creature.
